2010 is almost here.
It’s about 34 minutes away (as I’ve begn to type this) (I live in central time) for me and I’m not ready for it. Just to think, when the clock strikes midnight, it will be 2 months and 15 days before I turn 20. It will be 10 months before the next official (knowing that there are alternatives to it)  National Novel Writing Month, which I WILL be partaking in again AND already...

It’s Christmas. I thought it would be appropriate to share what I got, even though this year I wasn’t really in the spirit. Star Trek DVD The Diving Bell and The Butterfly DVD A “Worst Case Scenario College Survival Tips” poster An ice cream pen… yeah… my mom has a weird/unique taste in gifts. “Careful, or you’ll end up in my novel”...

Why Do You Write?
Many writers have different reasons on why they write, whether they write newsletters, plays, novels, or whatever floats their boat. I myself write because all of my friends that I am surrounded by are writers, whether they know it or not. People on Facebook or Twitter or any other site write at least one word every day. Some write even more. Some people use Wordpress or Tumblr to show and share...

Holiday Writing Prompt.
Today, it’s Christmas Eve. Use this time as a setting for a small prose piece or poem to write about - and tell all as best you can what goes on. Use the traditional props in the story that you would know would be used in the holiday setting. You may use any holiday you wish if you cannot center the story on Christmas- or choose not to.

Bold Things That Are True
I‘ve never watched Titanic. I’ve never read Pride and Prejudice. I’ve never been drunk. I’ve never played Laser Tag. I’ve never skipped in a public place. I’ve never sung at an inappropriate moment. I’ve never cried over a movie. I’ve never cried reading a book. I’ve never cried while watching a TV show. I’ve never owned a music player. I’ve never made a Twitter. I’ve never read anything by...

Writing Prompt (taken from Writer's Digest) #1
I think I’m going to start a series of writing prompts. I will be taking some from Writer’s Digest and other sites (giving credit where it is due is the right thing to do). Anyways, here is the first of hopefully many writing prompts. I encourage all readers to comment on these prompts. Here is the prompt: If you could morph into anyone (alive, dead, fictional, etc.), who would it be...

Mission Accomplished.
I knew I did something wrong when setting up the comments on this tumblelog. Well, I figured it out at last. I forgot to set up a shortname on the comments registration page. Looks like a simple account on the Disqus service wasn’t enough. I still think the fact that I had to set up comments on here to have them was rather a very ridiculous thing about it. I’m a dork for not figuring...

…when it comes to jobs. Before hitting the road to the traditional route, however, I will explain the weaknesses and mediocrities of all businesses out there. I’m a visitor of many workplaces. Most All of which are forever ignorant, for the sole purpose of applying to them because they know you want to work for them, but they do not acknowledge that. Once upon a time, I visited a...

The Year of Doing Big, Fun, Scary Things Together:...
So, it’s December 2nd, 2009. That means two things. One is the CreateSpace code being posted today - hopefully sometime later in the afternoon. Evening at the latest. The other thing it means is that it’s the 2nd day of December and Beyond. And that means it’s time to set goals for Big, Fun, and Scary Things. Here’s a list. 1. Finish my NaNoNovel. Then continue editing. ...

Forgotten, Forgotten's, the end of November, Chris...
Now set aside that shovel, and play in the snow - go now, and edit that novel, nice and slow. Yeah, so I won the competition of National Novel Writing Month at 65,216 words total. However, I am still writing the novel itself. It should be completed in the middle of this month and finish the story. On the last chapter and then the epilogue, but I have to make sure that they are lengthy enough for...
